Morning poetry session and training course on Arabic calligraphy in the Faculty of Arabic Language in which a number of outstanding poets participated.
As part of the Faculty of Arabic Language s celebration of International Day of the Arabic language, the faculty organized morning poetry session, in which participated a number of outstanding poets who have won poetry titles within the college and at the university level in general and outside the university as well.
The morning poetry session was presented by Mr. Mustafa Essam Afifi, and it witnessed a resound reaction from the audience. Each poet presented their poems in several different topics, ranging from literature that relates to the burning issues of the Ummah such as the contemporary issue and talk of the time, the city of Aleppo "Haleb" and among other themes, such as spinning, generosity, and pride.
On the sidelines of the event, the participating poets were honored alongside the presenter of the calligraphy course Mr. Bashar Alouh, and other participating students in the session.
It could be remembered that this calligraphic course came as part of the activities to mark the celebration of the World Day of Arabic language, and lasted for three days in which students learned Arabic calligraphic arts, its foundations and methods.
