Dean of the College of Holy Quran arbitrates in the contest of (the Top First) in Qatar

The Dean of College of the Holy Quran and Islamic Studies at the Islamic University: Prof. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Sudais participates as an Arbitrator in the International Segment of the (top first) Contest, within the Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani of Qatar s, Competition which started on 29/02/1438 AH and continued until 07/03/1438 AH.


The contestants in the first round of the « top first» international branch of the competition cut across 21 countries which are: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Palestine, the Republic of Algeria, Tunisia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Kuwait, the Republic of Somalia, the state of Libya, the Republic of Sudan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Morocco, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Bangladesh, the Federal Republic of  Nigeria, Chad, Mali, Turkey, Malaysia and Cameroon.


This competition « top first » is one of the sessions of Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani of the Holy Quran Contest, organized every three years.

The chairman of the jury is: the Egyptian Sheikh Dr. Ahmed bin Isa Almasroaa, and members are: Sheikh Abdul Rashid Ali Sufi of the State of Qatar, and Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Sudais from Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Salam Muqbil Al-Majidi of the Republic of Yemen.


The participation of the dean of the faculty in the arbitration this competition is added to his track record of heading several local and international committees for arbitration in the Quranic competitions, as well as his participation in a number of international Quranic competitions arbitration both internally and externally.

It is noteworthy that members of the Faculty of the Quran have evident contributions in the arbitration of many local and international competitions, and this comes within the college strive to serve the local and international community.
