College Council

Duties of the College Council According to Article Thirty-Four of the Higher Education and Universities Council System and Its Regulations:

1. Proposing the appointment of faculty members, teaching assistants, lecturers, as well as their secondment, delegation, and promotions.

2. Proposing study plans or their amendments in coordination with the departments.

3. Proposing curricula, prescribed textbooks, and references for the college or institute departments.

4. Encouraging the preparation of scientific research, coordinating it among the college or institute departments, and working on its publication.

5. Proposing examination schedules and establishing regulations for their administration.

6. Proposing the internal regulations of the college or institute.

7. Proposing training and scholarship plans required for the college or institute.

8. Proposing the extracurricular activity plan for the college.

9. Deciding on student-related matters within its jurisdiction and referring other matters to the University Council.

10. Considering matters referred to it by the University Council, its President, or Vice President for study and opinion.

4. Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Jaber Al-Raddadi – Head of the Mathematics Department
5. Saleh Ubaidrabah Abdullah Al-Luhaibi – Head of the Physics Department
6. Faisal Maqad Kareem Al-Buqmi – Head of the Biology Department
