Master of Science in Mathematics

Establishment of the Academic Master’s Program in Mathematics:

The university council approved the Master of Science in Mathematics program (Decision No. 345/1440/1441, dated 19 Ramadan 1441 AH).

Program Mission:

Providing distinguished academic service in the field of advanced mathematical sciences and preparing qualified scientific and research cadres for the labor market that supports innovation, sustainability, and community partnership.

Program Learning Outcomes

Knowledge and Understanding:

K1 Recall theoretical ideas to solve advanced mathematical problems.

K2 Outline mathematical models and their solutions for realistic situations.

K3 Recognize creative thinking and methods for mathematical proofs.

S1 Explain ideas, definitions, hypotheses, and postulates.

S2 Analyze appropriate conditions to formulate real-life problems.

S3 Employ integrated theories and concepts in science and engineering.

S4 Solve mathematical and statistical problems using computer algebra systems.
