About program

Establishment of the Academic Master’s Program in Mathematics:

The university council approved the Master of Science in Mathematics program (Decision No. 345/1440/1441, dated 19 Ramadan 1441 AH).

Program Mission:

Providing distinguished academic service in the field of advanced mathematical sciences and preparing qualified scientific and research cadres for the labor market that supports innovation, sustainability, and community partnership.

Knowledge and Understanding:

K1 Recall theoretical ideas to solve advanced mathematical problems.

K2 Outline mathematical models and their solutions for realistic situations.

K3 Recognize creative thinking and methods for mathematical proofs.

  1. To earn a master’s degree in mathematics, a student must complete at least 35 credit hours, including the master’s thesis. The student must submit an acceptable research thesis in their area of specialization, distributed as follows: A. (13) credit hours spread across five courses taken at the first level. B. (12) credit hours spread over four courses at the second level. C. (10) credit hours for the master's thesis.
